Hey friends! Long time no talk, I know. As per usual, life is crazy and when I do get the time to create a new recipe I don’t always have the time to post it.
I came up with this smoothie recipe a few weeks ago and knew I just had to share the recipe! It seriously tastes like you’re drinking pumpkin pie filling – but it’s healthy! Its super creamy, perfectly sweet and the canned pumpkin/pumpkin pie spice makes you feel like you have autumn in a glass!
Turn it into a smoothie bowl with pretty toppings for the perfect fall breakfast or enjoy it by itself as a filling snack!
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie:
- ½ cup canned or pureed pumpkin
- 2/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 tbsp. pure maple syrup
- ½-frozen banana
- 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, ground ginger, allspice)
- 1 scoop plant-based vanilla protein powder
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients in a blender and top with nuts, dried fruit, seeds or granola!
